I am adaptable 1

The definition of the word adaptable;

is to have the capacity to adjust to new conditions.

Whether we like it or not. The world has changed. We have had a watershed moment in time, and it seems as though overnight we all had to change and guess what we did.

As humans, we have the capacity to change more than what we realise.

Adaptability is a core part of our very survival.

And I just wanted to take a moment to say, “Well done”.

We made it.

Over the last year, plans have changed, events have been cancelled.

Was it easy; no?

Was it inconvenient; yes?

But we have endured lockdowns, changed holiday plans, worked from home, taught online, changed schedules.

So, the next time you think you cannot change, remind yourself.

I am adaptable and the greatest gift I can give my future self is to continue to live with a little more fluidity and say yes to new opportunities often.

With growth, change and increase of capacity, comes those seasons where we have to transition well, with ease.

    Perfect! A gentle encouragement to be kind to ourselves. Looking back, it’s been a tough time but we have adapted. We will continue to adapt, no matter what happens in the future.

    A good lesson for us all to absorb and accept. Change is inevitable. Our attitude to change is where we can either face it or resist it.

    Thank you!
