Suspicious Eyes,

Half Smiles,

Unanswered Questions,

Heart drop moments.

Lately I have been watching a little phenomena unfolding and maybe it has always been there, but just lately it has made me think.

We as women have a lot of unwritten rules, unsaid little heart thoughts and rumours that tell us this…

Babe, there is not enough room.

When she gets the job that you secretly have been petitioning for. When she is asked to speak at that event you have been thinking about. When she travels to far off and distant places. When she says yes to the guy of your dreams. When she writes a piece on her blog that you have been drafting. When she gets hundreds of new followers on her online project. When she steps out into places you have been dreaming of.

There is a sneaky little voice in women that whispers. “Gah, that was my opportunity, that was my moment and how am I ever going to do the things that are in my heart.” I have seen many a woman taken down by this unwritten rule, that there is not enough room. That there are not enough opportunities or that there is some line drawn in the sand that only one of us can reach our full potential.

There are opportunities for every single one of us. I believe there is something brewing in your life right now and the only thing that is stopping you is your belief that it is not available to you.

Call it tall poppy syndrome, call it jealousy, call it competition, comparison, envy or just plain old narcissism. I have found the truth to be the complete opposite. Every single time one of my gang achieves things that I have been searching distant shores for, the opportunities come flooding like a dam wall that has been wrenched open. Every single time I encourage my friend in the desire she has in her heart, I grow a little on the inside.

Every time a woman along side me wins in leadership, we all win. Every time our friend speaks in front of hundreds and smashes it, we all gain. Every time a leadership opportunity for a fellow colleague is realised, she is opening up the potential and possibility for us all.

There is enough room.

There are enough opportunities.

The only thing that is keeping you from realising that dream, that seed planted on the inside of your unique call is you.

It is you.

It is your fears,

It is your jealousy,

It is your comparison and competition.

If you want to write a blog, but have been believing that small voice that says “Everyone has a blog, why even bother.” My friend I am certain that…

Babe, there is enough room.

If you want to step up into a leadership opportunity in front of you and the negative voice has been saying ” Why bother, there are so many more capable and brilliant women who could be doing this role.” I am telling you…

Babe, there is enough room.

If you have an event in your heart that you have been wanting to start, but you look across the internet and the voice has said “There are so many events out there just like this one. Don’t even dream.” I am so sure…

Babe, there is enough room.

If you have a business that you want to start, but are afraid of people pulling you down. I am so completely convinced…

Babe, there is enough room.

If you want to speak and think there is to many people seeking that same dream. Let me show you…

Babe, there is enough room.

Opportunities are in abundance and I believe with everything within me, we do not have a scarce Creator calling us into a small future. I believe in a Creator that has designed purpose and passion, opportunity and abundance, for every single human on the earth. Every one. Not just some.

So if I could shout I would tell you my dearest,

BABE, THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM.
