I have a friend and her name is Anne she is an amazing friend, Mother, Grandmother and business owner and she is a very compassionate clinical psychologist.
I met her many years ago, but over the last couple of years I have gotten to know her really well. There is this one question she asks me all the time about the way I make decisions.
She says this.
Amanda, how does this make you feel?
You see I’ve always been ashamed of my emotions. Being told I am too much, too emotional or too loud. Too strong, too opinionated or too forthright.
And maybe there were sometimes when this was the case, but the funny thing is this, I am learning from my friend, that the more I ignore my internal temperature the louder I become.
The more I listen to the leader within, intuitively listening to my emotions and my body the more peaceful and quieter I become.
I wonder how curious you are about your emotions?
When we listen we discover.
This keeps us very real.

This is profound wisdom. I love the honesty and vulnerability of this. Xxx
